Welcome to my new medical practice in Pinehurst, NC! I am Dr. Philipp C. Wirth, and I am delighted to be a part of the Sandhills community.
My mission is to do what I love: helping people. I am passionate about inspiring change, listening to your concerns, and partnering with you to achieve your health and wellness goals. I have spent the first 17 years of my medical career taking care of my hometown in Seneca Falls, NY, as a primary care doctor. As my life takes a new direction, I look forward to bringing my experience and dedication to the Pinehurst community.
As medicine progresses from Medicine 2.0, today’s standard of care where we react to illness and try to engage in prevention, to Medicine 3.0, where we will use AI, genetic testing, and advanced imaging to transform how we practice, I firmly believe that the foundation of healthcare remains the doctor-patient relationship. My goal is to build strong, lasting relationships with each of you, understand what is truly important to you, and work together to achieve your health goals.
What we have been really good at in medicine, Medicine 2.0, over the past several decades is treating acute and chronic health problems. However, as medicine progresses and changes, my practice is here to partner with you to proactively manage your personal health. I want to know your health goals and how we can help you accomplish them. Together, we can navigate the evolving landscape of healthcare and ensure that you receive the best possible care.
My education started at Hobart College, medical school at Ross University School of Medicine, Residency in Internal Medicine at Rochester General Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program, and have been Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 2007.
